Being Green in Manitoba: What's New at Generation Green?

Generation Green now has an entire section dedicated to our beautiful province! The Made in Manitoba section features local companies who make food you can really feel good about putting on your plate.

Our favorite thing about the Made in Manitoba section is the bulk food section. It features all organic, non GMO products. The Manitoba Rice, Quinoa, and Oats are as Manitoban as a good wedding social (very)!

You will find:
  • Chia Seeds
  • Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas)
  • Green Lentils
  • Trail Mix
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Spanish Almonds
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Roasted Pistachio’s with Sea Salt
  • Popcorn Kernels
  • Baking Soda
  • Baking Powder
  • Cornstarch
  • Goji Berries
  • Medejool Dates
  • Pea Protein Powder
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Xylitol
  • Coconut Flour
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Manitoba Quinoa
  • Manitoba Naked Oats
  • Manitoba Stoneground Whole Wheat Flour
  • Manitoba Wild Rice

This is adding onto their already massive bulk cleaning and skincare section where you can buy eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and all the other products that keep you lookin’ good. There are also eco-friendly household cleaners to keep your place lookin’ just as good!

Please remember to bring your own container, so we can be even more eco-friendly by eliminating waste.

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about the treats!

In the Made in Manitoba section, you will also find a freezer filled with POP CART popsicles, ice cream from Cornell Creme, and cookie dough from sweet C bakery! Perfect for summer days when the sun is hot.
